Successful Coordination Meeting of EOSC-Related Projects Funded under Horizon Europe

The 2025 Coordination Meeting of EOSC-related projects funded under Horizon Europe took place successfully on 26–27 June 2025 in Brussels, bringing together key actors from across the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) ecosystem.

The meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration among the Horizon Europe-funded projects contributing to the development and implementation of the EOSC. Representatives from over 30 projects, along with officials from the European Commission, engaged in active discussions, exchanged best practices, and coordinated joint actions to align with the strategic objectives of the EOSC initiative.

Among the participating projects, DataGEMS was represented by Project Coordinator Georgia Koutrika, who gave a presentation, and Project Manager Eleni Petra, who participated in the meeting. Their participation underlined the project’s commitment to fostering innovation and interoperability within the open science landscape.

Through their active participation in the meeting, the DataGEMS project successfully opened channels of communication with over 10 other projects, many of which were presented at the event, setting the stage for promising future collaborations.

The meeting served as a valuable opportunity to enhance synergies and reinforce a shared vision for a functional, sustainable, and inclusive EOSC accessible to all researchers.

DataGEMS is a Research and Innovation Action funded by European Union under Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme via Grant Agreement No 101188416
