DataGEMS and Cardiff University Explore Future Research Partnerships

On Tuesday 10 February 2026, we had the pleasure of hosting representatives from Cardiff University and the Digital Transformation Innovation Institute (DTII) at Athena Research Center, led by Yulia Cherdantseva, DTII Director, together with Dr. Angharad Watson, Manager of DTII and Kathrin Jones, Head of the School of Computer Science.

Following a comprehensive presentation of the DataGEMS project by its Project Manager, Eleni Petra, partners engaged in a strategic discussion on potential collaboration in scientific and research domains and joint programmes, with emphasis on digital transformation, cyber-security, data management, and the integration of AI techniques.
